ABOUT UNITED WAY:

This is a two-year grant funded position, reporting to the Senior Director of Grant Finance. This position will be responsible for all post award services supporting the After School and Out of School Time (ASOST) grant.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will function as a subject matter expert on federal regulations and compliance matters for this sponsored project.
  • Will prepare financial reports and ensure all financial requirements are met during the project period.
  • Works with both internal and external stakeholders of the ASOST team.
  • Provide monthly reconciliation of actuals versus projected expenditures and report any issues to the Senior Director of Grant Finance.
  • Maintain calendar of all fiscal deliverables for the ASOST sponsored award and updates the grant portal, Grants Navigator, of all grant activity as necessary.
  • Provides ongoing monitoring of grant expenditures related to the awarded budget. Reviews all invoices and loads into concur for final review and approval
  • for processing.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Prior grant management experience with a non-profit, government agency or other entity.
  • A solid understanding of budget development and management. Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Has the ability to meet assigned deadlines as well as having the dexterity to switch directions as the workload mandates.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the capability to work with all levels of the organization and external grantors.
  • Familiarity of federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations regarding contracts, and reporting, including Uniform Guidance.
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision, and as a team player when needed.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word, Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics, FRx, and Grants Navigator is desirable.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 per year
